Today, the newly appointed members of the Afghan Students’ Union at the International Islamic University Islamabad met with Afghan Ambassador His Excellency Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb.
Following brief self-introductions, the Union President and members expressed their gratitude to the Embassy and Ambassador for addressing student concerns, and also requested continued attention and cooperation.
His Excellency the Ambassador welcomed the students and emphasized that the Embassy is not only a home for students but for all Afghans residing in Pakistan, particularly students, who are always welcome to visit.
He stated that Afghan students — whether in schools, universities, or religious institutions — are a top priority for the Embassy, as they represent the nation’s future and serve as ambassadors of Afghanistan’s national and cultural values abroad.
