Senator Hedayatullah Rahi, member of the former administration’s Senate, met with Afghanistan’s acting ambassador in Islamabad, His Excellency M. Sardar Ahmed Shakeeb. During their discussion, Mr. Rahi, now residing in Pakistan, expressed his gratitude to the ambassador and conveyed his satisfaction with Afghanistan’s current situation. He also expressed his desire to return to Afghanistan with his family. The acting ambassador welcomed Mr. Rahi’s intentions and assured him of the country’s security, political stability, and economic prospects.
