Afghan Ambassador met Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan

On 16 December, the Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan, H.E. M. Sardar Ahmad Shakib, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Kyrgyzstan Republic, H.E. Kylychbeck Sultan. The meeting focused on political and economic relations between Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the long-standing historical, religious, and cultural ties between the two countries. Both sides underscored the importance of further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Mr. Shakib highlighted the key measures undertaken by the Islamic Emirate to support Kyrgyz minority communities in the Wakhan–Pamir region, reaffirming the Government of Afghanistan’s commitment to the welfare and improved living conditions of all minority groups.

The Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan welcomed these efforts, describing them as a positive and encouraging development for the people of Afghanistan. He reiterated Kyrgyzstan’s support for expanding relations with Afghanistan and noted that several practical steps have already been taken in this regard.
