Today, former Counsellor of the non-resident Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Afghanistan, H.E. Mohamed Halim, along with his successor, H.E. Mohamed Mamdoh, met with H.E. Sardar Ahmad Shakeeb, Ambassador of Afghanistan to Pakistan.
In addition to detailed discussions on the bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Egypt, Mr. Halim bid farewell to the Afghan Ambassador upon the completion of his tenure. Expressing gratitude for the cooperation extended by Afghan authorities, he stated that relations between Egypt and Afghanistan—as two brotherly nations—should be further strengthened.
Ambassador Shakeeb thanked Egypt for its support to Afghanistan and acknowledged Mr. Halim’s role in this regard, while also welcoming his successor. He further expressed hope that cooperation between Egypt and Afghanistan would expand in the areas of trade, education, scholarships, people-to-people exchanges, and other relevant sectors.
